Notifications

Parada keeps you informed at every step via the in-app notifications bell, email, and SMS. Here's a complete reference of every notification you can expect as a driver or space owner.

In-app Notifications (Bell)

Beyond email and SMS, Parada has a live notifications bell in the top navigation bar. It gives both drivers and owners a real-time feed of account activity — open it any time to catch up on what's changed, even if you missed the email.

The in-app feed covers events such as:

  • New and updated booking requests
  • Booking approved
  • Booking paid
  • Booking active — separate from paid; a paid booking only becomes Active when its start time is reached
  • Booking completed
  • Booking cancelled
  • On-demand requests
  • Parking space approved, or flagged as "needs changes"
  • Owner payouts
  • Extension requests and updates
  • A welcome message for newly-verified users
The bell complements email and SMS — it doesn't replace them. Important transactional events are still sent to your email (and SMS where applicable) so you never miss them.
Driver Notifications
Email Verification
Sent immediately after sign-up with email/password. Contains a confirmation link valid for 24 hours. Your account is not active until this is clicked.
Booking Request Sent
Confirms your booking request was submitted successfully and is awaiting owner review.
Booking Approved
Sent when the owner approves. Includes a Xendit payment link. Complete payment to confirm the booking.
Booking Declined
Sent when the owner declines your request. The owner's remarks are included. No charge is made.
Payment Confirmed
Sent after successful payment. Contains the confirmed booking details, full address, and access instructions for the parking space.
On-demand Request Accepted SMS
Sent when a parking owner accepts your on-demand request. Includes slot details and agreed price.
Rate Your Experience
Sent after your booking ends. Contains a direct link to leave a star rating and comment. Valid for 7 days from booking end date.
Owner Notifications
New Booking Request
Sent when a driver submits a booking request for your listing. Includes an approve/decline link valid for a limited time.
On-demand Request Received SMS
Sent immediately when a driver sends an on-demand parking request to your space.
Booking Paid
Confirms that the driver has completed payment. The booking is now Paid and the driver has access to the space details. It only becomes Active when its start time is reached.
Parking Space Approved
Sent when Parada approves your parking space registration. You can now create listings.
Parking Space Rejected + Resubmit Link
Sent when your space fails verification. Includes reviewer remarks and a secure resubmit link valid for 7 days.
Not Receiving Notifications?
Check your spam folder. Parada sends transactional emails from two addresses: [email protected] (signup verification, admin notifications) and [email protected] (booking confirmations, owner approvals, support replies). Add both to your contacts to ensure delivery.

Other things to check:

  • Confirm your registered email is correct in Account → Profile.
  • For SMS, ensure your phone number is saved in a valid Philippine mobile format (e.g., 09XXXXXXXXX).
  • Check that your mobile number has active reception and is not in DND mode.
If the issue persists after checking the above, contact us at support and include your account email and the type of notification you're missing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Booking requests expire after about 6 hours if the owner doesn't act on them. The approve/decline link in the owner's email does not expire immediately, but Parada's system automatically expires the request once that window passes. Check your Bookings page for the current status. If it's still showing Booked well past 6 hours, contact support.
Transactional notifications (booking confirmations, payment receipts, approval/decline emails) are essential to the service and cannot be unsubscribed from. These are required for the platform to function correctly.
No. The rating window is strictly 7 days from the booking end date. After that, the Rate button is no longer available. This ensures reviews remain timely and relevant.
